No Swimming

Even without this sign, I wouldn't want to go swimming in this swampy area of Lake Jackson. Two words: alligators and snakes!

The warning is just right, better only look at it and take pictures.

You are right about that...did you drive by last evening?

It is amazing that they have to have a sign.

I like this composition, Lois. Would you believe me if I tell you I have swum every day during my visit to the Amazon? Well, no big deal, the natives know where to do it. If they weren't attacked why should I be? :-)))

yeah, i wouldn't need the sign to keep me out either lol

That doesn't look inviting for a swim at all! The tall grass and snakes are enough to keep me away, let alone the gators.

Not afraid of ...insects ....
The photo is very nice!

It wouldn't take that sign for me to not go swimming there!

OK, Lois, I am convinced!

Snakes and alligators too? I can gladly do without swimming.

Alligatos and snakes.. I can't believe it. A sign like that would be good for me.. we can swim everywhere over here without any danger.. except the cold of the water. But snakes and alligators would be the last thing on my mind...

There are so many areas like that in Florida...one cannot be too careful. Very pretty, though.

I don't think I'd want to go in that water for anything. Maybe watch the wildlife by it would be nice.
