More Protesting
When the Florida Legislature is in session in Tallahassee, there seems to always be some kind of protest going on. I was sitting in traffic the other day and noticed this peaceful gathering on the steps of the old Capitol building.
A terrific spring-like colorful photo. I hope that protest was agin some of the crap coming out of Tallahassee these days...the latest being a bill which would make it a felony to take a photograph on a farmer's property!!!!
I wonder what the ywere protesting about? I'd not have known it was a protest if you hadn't said - it looks more like a gathering of family/friends at a function.
When I was in college, we had a panty raid my freshman spring as soon as it got warm, but in my last three years we had demonstrations at the same time of the year. I came to recognize many demonstrations as just people needing to get outside and flirt with the opposite sex.

looks like a beautiful spot for a protest at least!
At least it is peaceful, no yelling angry people.
I've always secretly wanted to participate in a protest...but we don't really have them here :-)

I wonder what the protest du jour was? Lovely setting.
At least we are still free enough to have protests.
Love the Wood Storks. MB
I'm glad it was a peaceful protest. It's a handsome building and I like the awnings.

Good to hear protest can be peaceful. They're usually not, here. Couple of cars burned in our street last september.

Better peaceful and quiet rather than violent and shouting! Too much unrest in our world right now!
I'm not sure what this was about because the only people I could hear were speaking in Spanish!
It's also a lovely view with the trees and the Spanish moss.
