Burt Reynolds Hall

The Burt Reynolds Hall Athletic Dorm at Florida State University features one and two bedroom apartments. The facility is located adjacent to the football stadium and houses FSU scholarship athletes. It was named after actor and FSU alumnus Burt Reynolds, who played football at FSU when he was a student at the university back in the 1950's.

I had heard he was a football star in college -- still, when I think of Burt Reynolds, I think of moustaches, not higher education! ;o)

Burt Reynolds - one of my favorite actors. We are exactly the same age, I think, and people everywhere think I'm ol' Burt. ;-)

I didn't know FSU named a building after him. Rather cool!

Good 'ol Burt! Did he donate the funding for the complex?

He is a big supporter of FSU athletics, especially the football team and occasionally attends the games.

Funny to hear an other side of the actor, does he still act? Don't hear so much about him anymore.

It is kind of cool to have a well known supporter like Burt Reynolds. I am waiting for one of the younger bloggers to ask Who is Burt Reynolds?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he was a football athlete. He sure has the build for it!

Big hug, Lois! You know why. I missed all of you and am sooo glad to be back! I hope you are well. I heard that Florida was the only state that was spared a pretty bad Winter in the U.S.
