The sky reflected in the front doors of the old Leon County Armory building. This building is now used by the City of Tallahassee as the Senior Center and offers a wide variety of activities and services such as arts & crafts, educational programs, recreational activities, and support groups for area senior citizens. They even have their own Facebook page! To see more wonderful reflections from all over the world, don't miss Weekend Reflections.

A classic. Love that red brick.
Love the blue, blue reflection and it is perfect with the red brick!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Lois!

Is there an elevator for the seniors or are the many steps just part of their daily exercise? LOL MB
MB--this is the front entrance and the building is on a hill. There are other entrances at street level, so I don't think it is a problem, but those steps would be good exercise!
Nice façade and the reflection colour is fantastic.
It's good to know that seniors are given this beautiful privilege. Happy weekend.

This is a lovely building, and the garland along the stairs is a nice touch. I immediately had the same thought as MB wondering about the need of an escalator or something. I would probably get to the top of those stairs in time to turn around and go back home. Good to hear other options exist!
Kudos to your town for having such a great place for seniors...those doors really do reflect that sky! Amazing.
So great that this wonderful-looking building has found a new purpose. Thanks for the photo! I did wonder about the steps and the entrance for seniors--thanks for your clarification in the comments.
Beautiful composition with a very suggestive frame
Lovely reflection in the doors of this building!
