SkyWatch Friday

Posted by Picasa

I took this picture through the windshield of my car as I was leaving the Tallahassee airport. To see more beautiful skies from around the world, don't miss SkyWatch Friday.

Driving around airports can be confusing, trying to find the rental car return, or the long or short term parking, or the correct terminal, or the arrival or departure areas, with possible time deadlines, inadequate signage, and construction detours. It is nice that you can drive at your airport and be focused on the blue skies.

But I can't tell if you were coming or going? :-)

A nice, serendipitous photo - great colors.

You weren't there at Thanksgiving, were you? I don't think I've seen that color used before on road signs.

A perfect sky shot for today. Even showed a plane's vapor trail.

Well at least you have a blue sky. I will never again go to the airport in Seattle---scary!!!
I will pick people up at an airporter stop though. MB

Beautiful north Florida skies above the sign, Lois.
Even though its a bit chilly here in the south the skies are sunny and bright also.

Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs,
Pam

I think I see a couple of contrails. I like the color of the signs; they really 'pop' against the blue sky.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Lois...interesting to hear that your grandmother lived in Dania. From what I understand Dania was the site of numerous pineapple plantations in the early part of the 20th century...I can imagine she could tell some fascinating tales from her time as a young girl there...

Today, as you probably know, it has devolved into a typical South Florida region! :-)
