We used to do gingerbread houses for each of our children when they were young. The roof tiles were made of red hots. We got home after being away and the dog's water bowl was dry. She ate the gingerbread house.
The next day, the dog ate the other child's gingerbread house, but managed to eat the walls without eating the roof.
They are wonderful builders! We spent yesterday afternoon with about 8 kids, ages 2 to 4, and one of their craft projects was building a gingerbread house. It was crazy! Almost as crazy as your deer draped in orange a few days back! :)
I love the creativity and the difference of both, really well done! Reminds me of the gingerbread-house-making-party I had for my son and 3 of his friends in 2nd grade. Still remember the fun they had.
