I took this picture while standing under an old oak tree near this lake. As you can see, I had to dodge the Spanish moss that was hanging low from the branches of the tree. To see more wonderful watery pictures, be sure to visit Watery Wednesday.
Pretty view. I still enjoy seeing Spanish moss even after living here in the south for so many years.
look at all the birds, did you want to run out there and scare them?....I'm just kidding...
Wish I were there, it is getting cold here.
The Spanish moss gives a certain depth to the photo - a foreground, to go with the middle and backgrounds! I love all the birds!!
Nice shot, Lois. What are those birds? They look like white Herons.
BTW: I think you are the only one to see the ice horse (on my blog) so thanks. MB MB
I've always been so intrigued by Spanish Moss.
I love the Spanish moss. Looks good on just about anything.
The moss looks very impressive against the ducks and the water. Happy Thanksgiving!
Lovely photo, Lois. You were right, we look like to pesa in a pod today.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Dear Lois.
I am thankful for your friendship.
Blessings and smiles across the miles :)
Dontcha just love those birds. They're wacky but fun to watch. Got to enlarge this photo to get the full impact.
Thanks so much, Lois, for all your very kind comments today! You are much appreciated.
Hopefully, you will have a super Thanksgiving filled with all kinds of edible goodies!
Cool moss shot.
That's most attractive - I love all those white birds - looks like the Corps de Ballet!
Lois, hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving on Thursday, full of special moments.
This is a charming photo, Lois! I have never seen live Spanish moss, just the dried and packaged stuff sold in craft store...LOL!
This is very beaitiful! The moss, the pond, the herons, really great!
A lovely photo with a delicate feel. The many birds are pretty.
