Marching Chiefs
My other favorite part of the FSU homecoming parade, the Marching Chiefs! My daughter was a member of this band for four years while she was attending FSU.
Nice shots! I love parades, and it looks like there was a big turnout? Does your daughter teach at Leon? I have a friend whose son plays clarinet, and she told me that they just earned superior ratings at regionals. Kat
SRQ--My daughter traveled to the Orange Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl, and to the Sugar Bowl twice. Three of those bowls were national championship games and FSU won one national championship while she was in the band. I went to those bowl games too just to watch her perform. It was so much fun! Kat--my daughter teaches at Godby--the same high school she graduated from. That was always her dream!

Gotta love the marching band! Did your daughter travel to any bowl games?

Lots of fun watching and participating.

It looks a fun parade - even better if it brings back memories for you.
Aww, I envy you. Our university does not have a marching band, and I think it's great fun!
