This is a picture of one of the mobile units of the Southeastern Community Blood Center which serves North Florida and South Georgia and is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Tallahassee. With the help of volunteer blood donors, this organization provides blood to patients in over 25 counties in the South Georgia and North Florida region. The center is licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the American Association of Blood Banks and the Florida Association of Blood Banks, in addition to being a member of the National Marrow Donor Program, which helps find bone marrow matches for transplant patients.

No picture of you donating?! : )
Good thing, been doing it for 31 years now.
Nice pic. I used to donate but then one time they backflowed into my arm and it was very painful. The next time they had to call my wife because I was having problems not passing out. So my donating days are over.
It is for a good course, but I have never done it myself...
I hope parking vehicles like this outside the entrances to shopping malls during the upcoming holiday season will result in lots of blood donations.
I've donated blood since i was 17 ... a looooong time ago; straight up until about 5 years ago when i went in and the Red Cross told me no, never again - because I had been stationed w/my husband in Germany in the 1980's. Huh? New rules I guess. I cried when they told me that. I used to be a 'baby donor' due to my blood being free of certain viruses that most people had as children, but I didn't. Now I can't donate at all. Sniff.
What a great organization! I haven't donated blood in a few years. I used to donate platelets because I'm AB+. I read about donating bone marrow and that whole thing scared me.
