Theme Day -- Graffiti

Posted by Picasa

Just when I didn't think I would be able to participate in Theme Day this month, I noticed the trash can outside the building where I work. The first day of the month is Theme Day for the City Daily Photo community.

This was not an easy theme for those of us in "smaller" cities I think. Glad you found something! :)

Lovely! Wow--you should check out my blog on The Abandoned--the graffiti there is like nothing I've ever seen before!

It is so great to see you back, Lois. ((hugs))

I do not understand graffiti but sometimes it does catch my eye and make me wonder.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! I'm actually glad you had a hard time finding some, maybe that means it's slowing down...

One nice thing about this is to get rid of the graffiti you can just toss the trash can in the trash!

I forgot again to register to the theme day! I would have had a lot of photos to post in Montpellier where thousands of places are covered with graffiti. Some of them are nice but most of them are just pitiful.

Love all the gold tones. It makes it look almost like it is done in sepia.

You are quite lucky if it is so difficult to find some graffiti. Here we have a wide and awful choice...

I agree with Marie, Barcelona as well is covered in graffiti, but it is really hard to find a good one, or one with relatively good taste.

I need to confess that I always upset when I see this kind of graffiti,I think there are no message in this kind of graffiti. But there are some who did beautiful mural using imagination, colourful graffiti, etc...
You did a great work with your camera!
It's perfect for the theme!

Sometimes the prize is right beneath our eyes! Good for you, Lois!

Now that's a good place for most graffiti. Actually inside would be better but it's a start. :)

Come to Portugal, Lois, and you can create a dp blog just on graffiti... It's a mess everywhere and I have no idea how this can be stopped!

Not being able to find graffiti is a good thing!
