Spanish Moss

I took this picture while I was sitting on a bench during my lunch break. I like the way the Spanish moss looks with the sun shining through it. If you click on the picture and enlarge it you can see the very top of the Florida capitol building peeking through from downtown Tallahassee in the bottom left corner.

That is very special the Spanish moss, I hadn't seen it before I saw it in the South of the States. Looks great with the sun.

Nothing says South quite like Spanish Moss.

Our Spanish moss is so beautiful in its ragged, tattered way. Especially as you caught it with the sun lighting it.

It does look pretty with the sun shining through!

You are very good at keeping your eye open for a serendipitous photo opportunity. Very nice!

Looks like someone hung nets out to dry. It's pretty in the sunshine.

Nice photo. I think Spanish moss is how I think of the South. Great Plantations, follow a long driveway lined with oaks and moss waving in the breeze.

The moss is a perfect decoration for Halloween. It looks so mysterious as it drips from the trees.
be well, be happy Lois.

Nice shot. I'm not sure if I have ever seen Spainish moss live.

Hi. I wandered into here from Darla's blog and have had a wonderful time looking at all your photos and getting to know your area. A daily photo is a brilliant idea!
