SkyWatch Friday
Look closely and you can see a tiny little sliver of the moon up there in the sky next to the pine tree. To see more fascinating skies from around the world, go visit SkyWatch Friday.
That is such a nice picture, but then I love pictures of the moon. The sky is a lovely blue to contrast with the lovely green tree. Just a beautiful capture, what more can I say.

Good eye! I don't think I would have noticed that daytime moon if you hadn't mentioned it.
I love it. Great composition.
If you climbed the tree, it would appear much larger.

Happy SkyMoonWatch friday :D
Nice and it has been wonderful weather hasn't it? Other than we could use some rain.

That little silvery sliver is showing up in other photo blogs, too. Amazing how the moon gets around!
Nicely done, Lois!
I remember my Grammie used to call a moon like this, the fingernail of God. Lovely photo!
((hugs)) It is good to see you back!
What amazes me is that the moon you photograph and the moon I photograph are the same one!
That is a heavenly slice of moon you captured, Lois.
