Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
He might be waiting awhile since we're heading into the dry season. Hasn't rained down here in a couple of weeks.
One of the most peaceful bird feeders I've ever seen.
For a "giant of a man," he looks pretty small.
I like the idea of combining beauty with utility.
Beautiful picture, Lois. I am thinking of you.
And then the squirrels will eat all the birdseed. We had a St. Francis statue in our yard for a long time. I think our daughter has it now.
What a lovely bird feeder..
That gives me an idea for a Christmas gift for my mom's garden! Thanks!
A strange feeder and an even stranger use for the image of a Saint. He would have been happy with this anyway!
That is something I have never seen. The birdies love it I think.
He makes a wonderful offering to the wildlife, Lois. And we all know how much you love the bird world.Have a lovely week.be well, be Happy ;)
I think you're right...it does seem quite dry! Love the capture :D
Perfect for St. Francis of Assisi! Great shot.
Quite appropriate. Not just as a bird feeder but also because his feast day was just on the 4th. :)
It's a adorable bird feeder.Wonderful find! :)Léia
Yes, he does need a refill! I guess you can feed the birds year-round. Here we have to stop so that they will leave for the winter.
