Playground
This playground is located right next to the disc golf course at Tom Brown Park. I like to take my grandkids here to play when it's not too hot, which around here is usually only in the spring and fall.
Those new play structures are wonderful but they never put them under any kind of shade and they get scorching hot in the summer. We visited them all the time when son was smaller.
The place looks immaculate...not a pebble out of place. Looks like an really fun place - when not too hot. Remember the metal slides, they got even hotter. I think we may still have one or two in the nearby parks, but I have not checked them out for about 7 years now...:) We had a wonderful park with an old metal sailing ship and a metal enclosed tower. It was replaced about 5 years ago with safer equipment. I'll have to dig up some of the old photos. Thanks for the memories, Lois.
It looks very nice but not much fun when it's too hot...like now! It appears, however, that "they" have put umbrellas over the equipment to keep the sun off which might help a little.
It is beginning to get warm here and humid. When that happens people disappear. And those are the healthy ones. I still put on my oxygen and take my camera and see what is happening. Sometimes I am surprised.
This looks like a wonderful playground. And I love that they have sunshades over them. Beautiful shot of a gorgeous sky, the colors just pop right out at you. I remember Live Aid like it was yesterday, and I just realized that it was almost 25 years ago! Holy cow, where does the time go? Kathy

I wish they had playgrounds like that when I was little.
Sunny :)
I tell people , all the time, our summer will end about Christmas time.
This playground makes for a lovely photo!
I like that it has sunshade umbrellas. Only in Florida!

It looks like a great playground, but too bad about not having shade. Such a waste if the kids can't use it a lot.
I wanna slide down the tunnel slide! Of course, I'm just a big kid!!! heheheeee
I love the blue of the tents--lovely composition! I LIKE this photo!

I like the wise idea that it is sheltered from the direct sun, playgrounds here aren't and it would be badly needed during summer.

It looks like an inviting park for your grandchildren.

Such a good idea to have the sun shades!!! And it does look so clean and fun.
Love the cloud formations!!!
Looks like a fun playground! And I see they try to block the suns rays with the little umbrellas :)
