Tee Ball

Posted by Picasa

My 5 year old grandson is playing tee ball this year and had his very first game this week. In the first picture you can see him concentrating on the ball which is sitting on the tee and getting ready to hit it. The next picture shows him running to first base after he hit the ball. He had a fun time and we really enjoyed watching him. They don't keep score at these games, so everyone got to hit and everyone was a winner!

Nice action shots, the first with background of parents (I guess). I like the idea of games with no score at all.

There is no feeling more helpless than watching one's child (or grandchild) playing Little League and not being able to influence wither he (or she) catches the ball, hits the ball, makes a good throw, etc.

Very cute shots. Who needs to keep score anyway! It's always more fun when you don't keep score.

Great fun. Wasn't that long ago our grandson(s) were doing the same thing. I'll bet you go to all the games, too!

This is a neat idea, I have never seen it here in England, but baseball never really took off here.

Oh I can remember when my girls played T-ball they always had so much fun....most of the children hadn't a clue as to what they should be doing...but they certainly loved chasing after the ball....
