Random Heart
Last week I attended a bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law and as I was walking out of the house and down the front walk, I noticed this little stone heart sitting right in my path! I immediately thought about my wonderful friend Clytie and her fabulous blog Random Hearts. Clytie finds hearts everywhere and sometimes the hearts find her. Perhaps it is because she has such a good heart herself! I thought it was a great sign that I found this little heart after a fun shower celebrating the fact that my son will be married soon. Please visit Clytie's beautiful blog to enjoy more Random Hearts.

Great shot Lois!
Léia
A good omen!
How cool. Did you scoop it up to give to her? What a great sight as you were leaving a bridal shower! Come see what greeted me this morning..and have your daughter and family keep their eyes open.
LOIS! This is beautiful! I LOVE it! Thank you so much for sharing it. I hope you kept the heart rock - maybe make it into a necklace for your beautiful daughter-in-law?
I have tears in my eyes, my friend. You are so sweet and beautiful. Wow.
What a great sign to find a heart rock after a wedding shower. Love is everywhere. MB
I'm so glad you like it Clytie! I actually didn't touch it because it was sitting right there practically on the spot where they will be saying their vows. I guess I'm superstitious!
You've got a great eye to spot such a small stone! And the story of you finding it is so romantic :)
Awww, it's so tiny, but so precious! Great eye!
That's what I'd call a lovely God-incidence. May they be blessed.
I'm going to keep my eye open for hearts.
Thanks for visiting.
A very good sign for the wedding ahead, you was lucky or simply deserved it. I like your theory that hearts find people... I'll surely check your friend's blog.
Perhaps an omen of good times ahead? Sometimes it pays to keep your eye close to the ground!
You're a little late for Valentine's Day, Lois!
what a great find! i've found a couple heart shaped rocks and always get pretty excited about them :)
I once found a heart shaped rock at the ocean. It was worn very smooth too. It's fun when you find something like this, and for you the timing couldn't have been better.
:-)
Sell it on eBay!
