Weekend Reflections
I took this picture on a recent warm afternoon while standing at the edge of Lake Jackson just north of Tallahassee. To see more beautiful reflections from around the world please visit James at Weekend Reflections.
So beautiful landscape, you did a great job with this shot.I wish I could be there and have some time just to look so adorable lake! Have a nice weekend Léia
Love this shot Lois. I agree with the first comment, it just screams Old Florida. Beautiful reflections, love the ripples in the water. Hope you are warming up some! Kathy

Looks like the kind of habitat where a manatee could be lurking. This shot evokes memories of Old Florida.

Your Lake Jackson is a real treasure. And you did a super job on this...it almost looks warm enough to go swimming!
Not. It's 45 degrees and rainy here today. Ugh!
Beautiful light and shadow too!
Happy weekend, Lois!
Pretty! I bet everything around there will be green soon.
Oh that is lovely! I love the sun shining on the bottom of the pond/lake too!
Very nice idyllic scene. I hope your weather gets warmer.
I like the way the ripples in the water hint that there is something just around the corner ... wonder what it was???
it does look like a good place for a manatee...pretty photo!
So peaceful and lovely!
