Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
Mmm ... this is a puzzlement. Posts, but not necessarily fence posts. And certainly no wire ... like the lean on some of them thar posts though.
Symmetrical! Maybe it could be some preparation for a fence!Great shot!HugsLéia
Reminds me more of a ranch than a boat ramp.
That is a wonderful photo! Quite intriguing!
Very nice. This is an eye catching picture.
Isn't it funny when we realize random mundane things can make beautiful photos and art? I really like this!
You do leave folks puzzled with some of your photos from our town. I love reading the different takes on the photos....
i am with B Squared I would have thought these posts were at a ranch but now I am surprised they are for a boat ramp. obviously wood is very necessary for boat ramps.
I never remember theme days. I think they should have an email system or something. I like your wooden posts. And in Florida with the termite business in the billion dollar range I am surprised these posts are still standing.
Nice composition for the theme, Lois! Looks like they've lived out their usefulness, though!Yes, pine trees are messy! I hated all the needles in the pool!
«Louis» felt that, given his reputation as already being a blockhead, did not need to post a photo about wood today...but he's had fun seeing what everyone else has posted.
Old wood... the posts look like they are small tree trunks.Three Rivers Daily Photo
A mysterious set of posts, perfect for this theme day.
I like this shot Lois, and it fits the theme just fine.
I agree with a lot of people here: very mysterious posts. Can't be a fence for they won't keep anything out. Can't be bollards for where's the water? This can be a fun guessing game. :)
Lots of wood in this picture for sure! Thanks for reminding me it was theme day Lois! :o)
Yep, it looks like a fence was there at one time. Good entry for theme day. MB
I really like the un-uniformity of the posts. Very natural setting and good tie in of theme to the landscape.
Looks more like a place to tie a horse!
