SkyWatch Friday

Posted by Picasa

I was headed for my car to go home after work last Friday when I looked up and saw this guy playing his guitar, singing and enjoying the beautiful weather and warm sun on the top floor of my parking garage on the Florida State University campus in Tallahassee. This week we are having another blast of cold weather. Hopefully it is the last one because my son is getting married in 3 weeks in an outdoor ceremony! To see more beautiful skies from around the world, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

What a great catch! I always forget to look up because I'm usually busy looking down for reflections for James! The snow has all melted and it was in the sixties today. Hopefully spring is on the way. Kathy

That's really cool. Also the brick building looks like steps from the angle of the shot. I love that beautiful blue sky too.

On first sight, it looked like he was pointing a weapon, but when the photo is enlarged it is most definitely a guitar. He picked a good spot to play.
Enjoy your weekend.
Cheers.

Like BlossomFlowerGirl, I did a double-take. I was relieved to learn it was a guitar player. What a great way to be happy and soak up some sunshine!

What a wonderful catch! I wonder if he knew you were taking his picture???

The blue sky is delicious! Especially the way the building is so sharply contrasted. Beautiful - even without the guitar player! :=}

Okie dokie! A parking garage serenade!
Maybe he was so off-key he was forced to go there to play and stop his assault on his classmates eardrums?

Honestly. When I saw the picture my first thought was, "He has got a gun!"

And here it was only music.

Super shot, Lois. See what good things happen when you look up? ;-)

Yeah, our weather stinks, too. But it's got to warm up soon, right?

Mother of the groom, congrats. Looks like he could have a flame thrower up there.

I hope we are all invited.

I just have to ask... is it ok for him to be up there? Did he get in trouble?
I hope you son's wedding goes off without a hitch and may they be a happy happy couple!

Yes Tricia, it's OK. In fact, no one was really paying much attention to him except me. I've been working on this campus for almost 33 years and nothing surprises me any more when college students are involved! Thanks for the good wishes on my son's wedding. I'm really happy for them!

First of all congrats on the wedding. That's great. As far as the fellow with the guitar, I'll bet it was nice to hear the sound echoing around the area.
