It's hard to drive by Krispy Kreme and not stop when this sign is lit up, because that means the doughnuts are just now coming out of the fryer and onto the conveyor belt to be smothered with that delicious sugary glaze and everyone knows they taste better hot! What better way to start a Monday morning?

Thanks Lois, I'm drooling all over my keyboard. They closed the one that was closest to us and turned it into a jewelry store! I was so mad! DH told me that he was lucky to be the only man married to a woman who would rather have a Krispy Kreme store than a jewelry store. Kathy (I wonder if their jewelry smells like donuts?)
I can almost smell them!
I could go for a donut or two. Neat way to signal when they are ready.
And they just melt in your mouth!!
Ohhhh, tasty, tasty!
They used to be all the rage out here but I don't think so anymore. Sorry I am just not a doughnut person. I know I know it's criminal. MB
Oh boy, now you've made me hungry! And I just finished breakfast! These are soooo good!
Your comment on Ocala DP made me laugh out loud, even if I don't believe it for a minute!
Have a wonderful week!
I'm not so fond of doughnuts, but I could certainly use something warm right about now!
I used to have to pass by a sign just like thiis when I live in Texas. I found it best to keep looking straight ahead. :)
If ya have a chocolate coconut, I'm in! hahahaha
Oh my goodness, I feel the calories packin' on just reading what you typed! heheheee
Let's order a dozen or those yummies!
It's evening here, but I'd like one (or two) anyway...
I guess I would rather see that than see "cold, stale and days-old"!
It's a long drive, but I'm hanging out for one or two right now!Sunshine Coast Daily Photo - Australia
I'm with you on this. Much better than starting a week off with a rainy Monday morning as I did.
A couple of those, a cup of coffee or two, and you could get a lot of work done. :-)
The NUMBER ONE thing you DON'T want to say to the cop who has pulled you over and noticed your bloodshot eyes:
Well, occifer, I see your eyez are a l'il glazed. How many trips have you made through the drive through at the Krispy Kreme so far this shift?
Sounds yummy! They do really taste different cold.
Something that surprised me when I arrived in Spain: Spaniards are literally addicted to donuts. A whole nation of Homer Simpsons? They pronounce it 'dohnoot'
Yumm, I'll take a bakers dozen :)
I've never seen a sign like this. Fascinating! And dough-nuts - very traditional spelling.
