Camellias

Posted by Picasa

Our weather was really nice last week, so I decided to have lunch outside. These camellias were blooming in Genevieve Randolph Park.

A beautiful photo - it would make a wonderful picture to hang on the wall. I especially like the large camellia in the forefront.
Cheers.

They are blooming out here too---at least the early ones. How delightful to sit amidst their beauty. MB

Those are absolutely beautiful and hard to believe! We're up to 3 feet of new snow with this storm and it's still coming down!

Thanks for alerting me to the Montrose Daily Photo! I'm glad someone finally started one.

I looked around at the golf course this weekend, but still no flowers in bloom here.

These are lovely though and have really brightened my day!

Spring is in the air. I like the way the flower seems to want to leap out of the picture.

LOVELY!!!! Very retty! Funny, but I just took pix of camelias in Detroit, too--even though we are having a blizzard as I speak--of course, they were INSIDE the conservatory!

So lovely! I noticed some white camelias when we went for breakfast on Saturday. I'm so glad you shared these.

Beautiful, such a good reminder of sunnier weather - we've had a crisp, cold, snowy day again here.

Did you already show us these flowers in an older post? This closer view is wonderful and camellias are one of the few flowers I can name and recognize!

My mom found a camelia tree in bloom at the abandoned church across the road, it was in bloom, and the blooms are white. I thought of you!

Everyone around the northern part of the blogosphere is happy to see a little color after all the snowy shots!
