This watery Wednesday thing is something I'm going to have to follow up! It's not as if I'm short of it after all. Lovely photo too!

They sure don't have to worry about a lack of water.

Are the trees growing to the edge of the water or is the edge of the water growing to the trees?? ;)

So pretty, Lois. I like the way the reflections seem to be shimmering in the water!

Halcyon--well sometimes, especially during tropical weather events, the edge of the water grows way past the trees and over the road!

Hi. I don't know how to e-mail you so my apologies for using the Comment section to do this. You mentioned you were going to be in Chicago soon. There's a cool Chicago Photography exhibit going on at the Chicago Tourism Center (downtown - not far from the Christkindlmarket). A reporter and photographer from the Chicago Tribune do a weekly Sidewalks column and the exhibit is a compilation of some of their columns. Here's a link for more info http://chicagopressrelease.com/press-releases/see-the-city-through-the-eyes-of-two-quintessential-chicagoans-at-new-exhibit-charles-osgood-and-rick-kogan

Again, sorry to do this as a comment but it seemed like something you might be interested in.
