SkyWatch Friday

Posted by Picasa

You never know what you will see in the sky when Florida State University has a home football game going on in town. 80,000 fans in a football stadium is quite a captive audience (especially when your team is having an off year). This blimp was circling town for 2 days advertising some kind of casino game. To see more beautiful skies from around the world, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

I always liked propeller planes with trailing messages better than blimps, but you don't see too many of them anymore.

Gorgeous blue sky! And a blimp! It's been ages since I've spotted one of them --they are amazing and weird at the same time! Have a great weekend, Lois.

I still remember how as a kid I used to get so excited when a blimp would fly over. It didn't happen too often. Great shot Lois!

Great capture of the blimp and beautiful north Florida skies, Lois.
Maybe they were filming you as you snapped it, we had better watch the news.

The sky is a pretty color blue! I'm not used to seeing a sky without any clouds....especially this time of year where I live, we have lots of storm clouds.
