One of the best shopping areas in the country is located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and is known as the Magnificent Mile
. There are so many stores here that it is easy to get overwhelmed. The guy in the last picture apparently had been waiting so long for his wife to come back that a bird built a nest in his hair! He was sitting outside of the Lego store.
LegoMan is incredible! Wow! It seems you enjoyed a very fun trip to Chicago! Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year - 2010!
What fun you are having and sights you are seeing! Love the Lego man. Happy New Year!
He looks real!
Happy New Year :)

All Little Things I Like
It is fun to see your own city through someone else's camera lens. The night scene is very pretty and I had completely forgotten about all the LEGO statues by the LEGO store. Happy New Year!
Your night photos are so beautiful and dramatic! And I adore the Lego Man.
Happy New Year!
Looks like a great place to shop, Mr. Lego is really cool.
Happy New Year to you!
The legoman looks a bit like Ronald Reagan...
Happy new year to you, or bon any in Catalan!
Hi Lois. I've been catching up on your Chicago trip. I recognized the sculpture and the glass ledge from other blogs. I don't know if I could step out there. Anyway, thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Here's wishing you a very Happy New Year!
Magnificent New Year, Lois!
A store for Lego's? Have a very happy new year and stay warm!
Oh, Lois! How FUN!
Here's a Happy New Year to you, dear girl! I pray the coming year will be filled with amazing adventures, laughter and joy! May you have strength through the hard times and peace throughout this new year. I have so enjoyed enjoyed getting to know you!
The Lego man is just too cool. Love it. (Did you have a conversation with him?)
Lois, I so enjoy your posts all year and look forward to 2010.
Happy, HAPPY New Year!!
Le Centre Pompidou in Paris reminds «Louis» of a Lego structure on bad drugs.
The Lego guy is amazing! :-)
Those are great shots!
