Grazing Goats

Posted by Picasa

These goats were grazing in the field behind the donkeys from yesterday's post. They were all part of the scenery next to this canopy road near my house.

Golly what a beautifully rural area in which to live. How far do you travel to work?

My nieghbor had a little goat that had to get down on his front knees to graze, it looked so funny!

Isn't it amazing what we miss when we don't look around the wonderful world we pass through every day. Nice shots, Lois.

This place ( or is it a kind of farm?) is really beautiful with all animals around...
Great shot!

Your posts are starting to resemble a giant Nativity scene.

Now, if a camel appears we know you've been setting us up. Come on, Lois, can't you find an exotic animal in those parts...say a giant Gambian Pouched Rat? (Look up that lovable creature.)Some coed probably has one as a dorm pet. Betcha!!

At least you're not posting scenes of 2-foot snows and icy tree limbs. Right?

Frank--since I'm actually in Chicago this week, I could post those icy pictures, but I think I'll wait until I get home!

No kidding! That is SO cool! When I lived out by Stayton, there was a place where a giraffe lived. (grin) Wierd animal for the Pacific Northwest to be sure.

This photo is WONDERFUL!

Goats are so cute looking. I've never had one so I don't know if their personality matches their looks. You're in Chicago? Brrrrrrrr.

Lois said...

Yes Clytie, I am in Chicago and I'm freezing.

How fun! I can't believe how green it is around them. They must get moved around a lot so as not to completely strip the land of grass.
