This is what the lobby of the building I work in looked like recently when it was packed with college students waiting to get in to see Sir Ian McKellen, who is famous for his roles in various movies like The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, The Da Vinci Code, and many more. He is also an accomplished stage actor and he was visiting the School of Theatre at Florida State University and conducting workshops with our theatre students. You can find out more about him here.

Oh Lois, it is a pity you were not able to spy a pic of Sir McKellen. I love him in his role in the Lord of the Rings. It could have been the best of your opportunity. It was so unfair while the paparazzi can get in the way.
Sorry for not being on here on a regular basis. Things have been overwhelming at my end I always ended up having migraines due to our heatwaves and lots of outside activities lately.

Great theme post, Lois. I don't think I would ever wait in line to see some actor, but this reminds me of the long lines I used to wait in to register for my college classes. In the old days, it took forever! And then, when you finally got to the front of the line, the class you needed was already filled! Ugh!
Shame about Sir Ian, he missed the opportunity to be OUR star!

Jacob, I remember waiting in those long lines to register for classes at FSU back in the olden days! Now the students just register online.
