Bringing up the Rear

Posted by Picasa

I took this picture while sitting in traffic after work one day and realized that if you didn't know what building this was, you would never guess from looking at it that it is the back side of the Florida Governor's Mansion. You can see a much more attractive view of the front in one of my previous posts here.

Thanks for the two views, this mansion is HUGE! :)
I notice no police around, I thought a Governor's Mansion would be full of "men in black"! LOL
Okay...forget it!
Have a wonderful day dear Lois!

Backsides are often less attractive.

Fortunately, there is a backside to everything. Some are much more interesting than others.

Funny, I've only seen it from the front. Would never guess this was it.

It's interesting to look at the backside (ha) of various places--one sees things one does not expect, and they can be quite ordinary!

and a lovely home it is!

I guess everyone has a "backside", even the governor! I still prefer the front view.

That's Crist's backside? Omigod!

Very clever! The previous view is rather spectacular.
RE your commute from Jax Beach to Jax - we didn't have any problem but I can imagine it can get pretty bad. My friends/co-workers went to a seafood place straight down Atlantic Blvd - they liked it. One unexpectedly bad traffic jamb I was in last summer was trying to get to Delaware shoreline on a Saturday mid-day - who would of thunk.

Wow, kinda like ordinary people ...

You're right, I don't think anyone would have guessed that!
