I agree Lois! If only our season down under can just go steady instead of blasting into a fiery summer...but see, our woods are highly flammable. A tiny scratch of nature's match stick will quickly cause conflagration in a split seconds and right now one State is already declared Catastrophic due to successive two-three weeks of heatwave!
Maybe we should import some of your cool woodland!
Hey Lois! Thanks for all your comments over the past four months while I've been away! Of course I made catching up here my first priority and it's now 2:48 am and jetlag is keeping up while I do just that!
Well, you beat me to the punch. We went walking in the woods at Silver River Park this afternoon and I'll be darned if this doesn't look just like a couple of shots I took!
Carrying on with yesterday's comment to your post, yep, a nice stroll in the woods... Glorious. Incidentally, thank you Lois for having been one of our first visitors, and also our 10.000th!

I love the pattern of light and shadows in your photo, Lois!
I should know in about an hour if they can fix the tooth or pull it or what?
I like your cool woods photo.
Wow - you got woods! It is beautiful - the photo really shows the crisp air but warm light of the morning.
"Nothing like a walk in the woods on a cool autumn day!"
This is so very true. Great picture Lois.
Re your comment: The other day some guy got really hostile and very loud. Normally I don't have any problems taking pictures of people.

These woods are beautiful. I love the light and shadows.
If I was there I would go for a walk in those woods with you! It looks very peaceful ... a perfect place for a stroll.
Beautiful! Glad you are having some cool weather without rain!
