Student Artwork

Posted by Picasa

I saw this interesting piece of art just outside the door of the building where I work on the FSU campus. The little plaque in front of it reads: "Time Machine". Unfortunately the artist is not named. If you turn that crank on the side, the whole thing rotates!

Great piece of art. And a good name for the work.

I quite like this kind of art, much better than installations anyway.

Resembles an hour glass, Lois. I like the burnished colour of the metal. Good find.

Yha know, Lois, I like it! It's not bad looking. And you say that the whole thing will rotate? I'll be darned. Pretty good. Wonder if the person or artist that built it was a Engineer of some sort.

Oh, I just LOVE this! Reminds me of the wind sculpture I found over in Stevenson, Washington!

Beautiful picture!
