I was driving through a neighborhood on the west side of Jacksonville this past week and saw this little gem just screaming at me to put it on my blog. Apparently instead of throwing away their old toilet, these people decided it would make a great addition to their yard as a planter. Of course, I had to stop and take a picture, much to my daughter's embarrassment. I'm anxious to hear what
Darla thinks about this.

And why not?!? This is an excellent and imaginative way to give an old thing a second chance. and it is actually very nice!
Give toilets a chance!
Gives new meaning to the term, "potted plant."
Take about re-use and recycle! Love it!
I am so sorry to hear about your aunt Gene. I will be praying for her, but most especially for those who loved her and who now have to go on living without her. (HUGS)
Finally they found a good use for it! LOL
Your picture is awesome dear Lois!
Have a nice weekend

Hah! That is so funny.
Funny, but kind of a crappy idea! ;-)
HAHA!! Very redneck.
Recycling can be funny! :-)
Looks lovely. Did you find the kitchen sink nearby?
Oh, hahahaaa--this pic brought back memories of the birthday party where my funny mother gave me a planter of this same design, full of beautiful flowers. Hahahaa....
Glad glad someone took the "plunge" to accessorize their garden with a "porcelain throne". Maybe they should plant "peas"?
Well, no need to add fertilizer I guess.
Great. I'm glad you photographed it.
