Great capture. It's really difficult (at least for me) to capture the flag so open and nice on such a windy day.

That photo is so beautiful, Lois. It should be in a frame and hung in a special place.

Fabulous! Great job at catching the flag so nicely! I remember trying to photograph a flag and thinking my arms would fall off while waiting for the wind to catch the flag... just.... so! Beautiful sky; great shot! Enjoy the weekend.

It is a nice photo. You don't often see the full flag when they are blowing. And the surrounding blue is just the right shade.
Cheers.

That is one of the prettiest flag/sky photos I have ever seen. The girls and I are making cards and photos to send to the soldiers, for Christmas these are the types of photos we would like. If you would like to share let me know..rusdar at hotmail dot com

Great capture on the flag unfurling in the wind. A simple composition, but very powerful image.

Yes, it's gorgeous in those spacious skies with no red glare of the rockets and no bombs bursting on air. Ah ...The Star Spangled Banner...(i can sing the song). wink.
