Happy Halloween!

Posted by Picasa

I saw these pumpkins at the pumpkin festival a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a cute alternative to carving, but you can't put a candle in them at night and make them look spooky. I'm going trick or treating with my grandchildren tonight. My grandson is dressing up as Batman and my granddaughter is going as Tinkerbell. I just hope it doesn't rain!

Cute! I like them. At least they look great during the day.

Hope your grandchildren have lots of fun tonight! Don't forget to take their photos! :)

They are rather cute, Lois.

Just last night we were over to our Son's place and he was getting ready to carve a pumpkin for the kids. He was using a knife and doing it the old fashion way. Then putting a candle in it and set it outside. There is only one problem. The neighborhood kids think it's fun to go around and smash pumpkins! That's something I never did when I was out trick-or-treating! Why do that?

They really are adorable! A nice alternative for the tiny kids, who really shouldn't be out too much after dark anyway?

Cute Lois. I hope you have a good time with the grandkids tonight. What are you dressing up as?

Cute pumpkins. What will YOUR costume be Grandma Lois? (My mother is called Grandma Lois by our daughters)

I'm not really dressing up, although I may change my mind. My grandkids call me "Granny" because that's what I called my grandmother and I try to be like her because she was the best grandmother in the world!

The pumpkins have very cute faces. It is so much fun to go out with your grandkids on Halloween. Have a Happy Halloween, Lois.

I'd much rather "decorate" a pumpkin that way. Hate the mess of carving. Good luck on your trick or treating, and try to save your grandson a little bit of candy, ok?

Happy Halloween!

These do like very nice. Have you seen some of the new carved pumpkins? They are incredible in their detail and they carve people and personalities and animals and pets. I found it hard to believe but there they are.

Cute! I like friendly pumpkins too, but you're right there is something about a good jack o'lantern that you just can't get any other way.

So far we've been rain free. Hope you are too!
