Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
Beautiful Pentas!
Pretty!Floral Friday? Very good idea! :)
Looks so beautifull, I never seen it before. What is the name of this flower?
What a lovely shot!
Great color. They sort of remind me of Hostess Snowballs.
Very pretty. It's just what we need on a gray and cloudy day in Boston. Have a great weekend.
Very pretty, Lois. But if they're blooming in your church's courtyard, shouldn't they be called "pietas?";-)Have a bon weekend!
Looks like similar to our santans here. Mine is up Lois...just click on my name to directed to my new blog.
Beautiful and lovely flowers !! Nice post..Unseen Rajasthan
Interesting. I'm not familiar with this one at all. I wonder if they don't grow here in the Pacific Northwest. I'll have to dig out my Western Garden Book and read up.PS: Thank you for the kind words. Those people have really been shaken up.
The flowers are very nice though I do not know the name.
My favourite colour!Léia
I love pink.Pentas = Stage (theatre) in Malay
Very pretty. I have always liked these flowers. Here they are a short lived house plant. MB
Gorgeous - wonderful color. I don't think I've seen these ever before. That's another nice thing about Florida & Ca - blooms in October.
What perfect blooms! My favorite shade of pink, too.
