Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
Where are they Lois? On the campus or nearer home?
Wow! Who's water garden?
I like water lilies. These ones are still young.
Is this your private pool? Looks neat. Abraham Lincoln
Do not kiss any frog sitting on a lily pad regardless of how persuasive he may be.
And wherever you see these, there is usually frogs around...i never saw so many frogs until I moved to the south...
This water garden is located in Dorothy Oven Park. I could wander around that park all day just taking pictures.
The lily pads are nice. It looks like a little oasis away from everyday life!
What a nice little pond. water lilies are nice. Did you see any frogs?
Very pretty, Lois. I think I'm getting to know your town a bit from your photos. When I saw this, I thought immediately of Owen Park. Well, you gotta admit I was close: Owen, Oven...Have a great day!
Yes I saw some frogs and I also heard a couple of them too!

Lois, that's a very pretty pond and so peaceful. Nice Watery post!
I love them too especially when they bloom like regal fairies floating on the water!
Another wonderful photo, Lois! The little round rocks and little round lily pads are super!
Very pretty little pool of water. The Oven park must be pretty wonderful to visit. Lots of photo opportunities.
what a sweet pond. Looks so inviting. MB
Cute lily pads!
Lovely!
I wonder if anything would bite my toe if I stuck it in the pond, hmmm:)
I always think of frogs when I see a lily pad and I am pleased to see that there are some hidden in this photo.
