Steffe's comment makes me smile. Well, there are people who just wanted to be left out. then again, that can be shifty too! take the case of that girl who was abducted when she was a teenager and where she was kept for long long years. very sad.
Nice neighborhood with all those trees! You never know what the story is. We have some (smaller) signs to keep people off the back deck. I would actually love it if regular tourists and locals wanted to look at the view, but I got tired of the homeless substance abusers camping out, throwing up on the deck, using the deck for a toilet, and falling into the water drunk. Actually, that last bit would have been OK, but the guy's friend made a lot of noise getting him out. So now I have signs and appear to be a grouch. Which I'm really not.

Always nice with friendly neighbours, if he lived in Sweden he would have big problems.

How about hunting rabbits on his property?

Won't catch me going in.
If he lived here, people would tresspass anyway, sign or no sign. That looks like a friendly sign though, pink. :D
I promise I won't! hehehe
Maybe he's growing pot - Is he that kind of neighbor?
It makes me wonder if he's growing some strange weeds and herbs. :o
I get the message! LOL
Sunny :)
So I guess you don't borrow a cup of sugar or clink glasses together over the fence (or sign)?
Real neighborly. Love it.
I would have guessed the hummingbirds would stop in your area for the winter but you say they go on south farther.
I have seen signs like that around here too. It is not uncommon. It is more uncommon for people to shoot at trespassers but they still do that too.
Thanks for helping me to make history.

I wouldn't argue with him. There's no telling how many guns he has pointed in various directions!
Geez.......
Wouldn't work around here. People either ignore the signs, or tear them down and go where they want anyway. Sigh. So much for privacy.
It doesn't really look like somewhere I'd want to go anyway...
I think they are not rude at all because they write using PINK! LOL
Cool post dear Lois, very funny!
Léia
he released the gun after
LOL,I know with this sign, the more people will trespass...
I guess they mean it!

People take possessions too seriously sometimes. "It's mine - don't touch it!" A bit playgroundish for me...
