Big Dreams

I always say I wish I would win the lottery so I could retire early. The problem is I would have to buy a ticket!

Yes, better not to start Lois. It's a slippery slope. You'd soon be vacationing in Vegas :)

That is a problem. :-) Dreams are free though.

Well, it only takes one to win. The big dream of all---"When I win the Lotto I will.........". MB

If I won, I would remove all their signs.

Do you remember the days when the Tallahassee politicos stood up and swore to God that the monies raised by the Lottery would go for education?

I knew they were lying, but enough people believed them to vote in the Lottery, the monies from which were immediately diverted to things such as political junkets. The other thing they did was was provide some of the Lottery money for education but dropped previous state funding at the same time.

A house of cards and the trick is on us!

We don't have a lottery in Mississippi. But my husband likes to play when we go back to Berlin. I always say that I've won money by not playing!!

I like B Squared's comment. I can't believe we have to listen to the lottery results each night on television news programs. I've never played and know that the odds of winning even a dollar are pretty remote.

Lottery businesses don't interest me as much as it did when they had number to win with. I won $500.00 once and had to drive to Cincinnati to get it.

Thanks for your comment about the stag beetle on Pick a Peck of Pixels.

That would be great too win, but I'd be disgusted with how much they would take out for taxes!

I've heard it said if you want to improve your chances of winning the lottery by 100%, then actually BUY a ticket. That being said, I have never bought one. So my odds are still 0/0. Which is okay by me.

Well, you made my wife laugh! Mandy always pressures me into buying tickets, and I keep forgetting!
And then I think, Vegas is a bit far, but Monaco isn't... I could visit Jilly.

I know if you bought a ticket your odds would dramatically go up. :)

Me, too. I want to win but never remember to buy tickets and the few times I have, I don't win. If I did win the big one, I'd pack up and move to France.

One of these fine days I might be a winner... but I guess you have to play to be a winner, hmmm... I think its a glitch in my old computer :D

Yeah, I know. I can't bring myself to throw away money after a pipe dream. Looking at the statistics--well winning is near an impossibility!

I remember when I flew into Las Vegas on a stopover--I used the restrooms at that airport--they even had those slot machines in the STALLS!

EEEeeeeeek!
