Also located across the street from where I work is the FSU College of Music. All day long last week we could hear the drum line of the FSU Marching Chiefs practicing. They are awesome and so is the rest of the band. I should know, because my daughter was a Marching Chief for four years when she was an undergraduate at FSU.

Oh dear Lois, how lucky you are!I would love to be there!
I guess it was a hot summer day, and all of them were enjoying the music and the landscape.Good luck for the students of course.

That must have been something to hear. I love drums.
That is an amazing tree!
Sunny :)
They do sound good even when they are practicing...Have you enjoyed taking your Grandson to school these last two days?
And you got to work to the beat of the music! You probably got more accomplished yesterday than ever!
Fun shot!
I hear the drum line from a high school practicing five mornings a week. They seem to be getting better. :-)
That might be special. To be in that band. I am sure your daughter has fond memories of those years.
That must be awesome on some days, annoying on other days. I like drum music, but not all the time.
It looks like it must have been another warm day too.
They have choosen a gorgeous tree to play under!
Well it is good to hear them all day if they sound good...it may get annoying after a while if they didn't...
Universities are so much more alive when the kids are back. That is a gorgeous tree, Lois!
must be fun!
How fun! That would be a long day. I bet they get tired.
They practiced all day? Wow. That would be tiring. But fun to listen to!
