Darla--that is the park and lake right next to Pedrick Road. You can see the intersection of Mahan and Pedrick in the left upper corner of the picture.
I love my Gateway too, and you would like it. I got it on QVC or one of those shopping shows. It is pretty red/wine color, and has silver (like metal almost) keys. It is nice. But honest, I would trade it for a Mac Book Pro like you got at work. :)
Thank you very much for visiting Brookville Daily Photo and for the comment you left me there. Pick a Peck of Pixels
I too missed the lovely bluejay until I read your comment. He's so small! Our jays are Stellar Jays and they are huge. Still haven't gotten one to stay still long enough to photograph though. I'm glad yours did.

I didn't even notice the bird till I saw the comment. The bridge draws the eye naturally into the distance.
The little person standing behind me wants to know where this photo was taken>>
Loud shutter?

I knew it looked familiar when I enlarged it, thanks!
That looks like a lovely park! I would follow that path if I could…
What a pretty park. I like the foot bridge. Super shot. MB
Was this taken near yesterday's photo? It looks like a nice area.
PS: Goodbye little bird. :)

Yes, this picture was taken from the same spot as yesterday's picture looking to the left.
Well composed photo, Lois, and it was nice of the blue jay to hang around long enough for you to snap the shutter!
Re: 1st Baptist Church - I think there is probably a mold that is used for huge Baptist edifices...
Oh, Lois, what a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing. Such a peaceful feeling about your photo. I needed that today.
How cute!!!
Lovely post Lois. I like the green green grass of your home. :)
Thanks for the visit.
I go anywhere near a bird without a long lens and it flies off!
No blue jays here.
That was nice of him to stop and pose!
