This is the same view of the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville Beach that I posted this past Wednesday. This picture was taken just after sunrise. Jacob, I was sleeping with my 5 year old grandson and he wakes up early anyway, but he got me up extra early because he knew the beach was just outside our window!

I am so used to sunsets into the ocean that it did not register that this was a SUNRISE until I read your note above. Your grandson must be a real cutie. He did well to wake you up for that scene.

I like the stillness of the sea, the soft glide of the tender waves to the shore. The sweet compliment of the mellow sunrise...adds the splendour to your skywatch friday treat.
