June 2009 Theme Day Feet

Posted by Picasa

My granddaughter's tiny little feet on her first day home from the hospital. She was born 7 weeks premature and weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces when she came home. I'm happy to report that she just celebrated her first birthday two days ago and now weighs almost 20 pounds! Those bandaids on her heels were from where the nurse had to draw blood for testing when she was still in the hospital. Aren't those little toes cute?

Happy she is doing well. That is quite a "feat" she overcame.

Soooooo cute! Well done on theme day. This is the most adorable post. Glad she is doing so well.
My niece was also born premature and is now 5'8' and just graduated from nursing school (the one I posted last Wednesday).

With every child, I was most amazed at the fingers and toes...don't know why, exactly...

And the redness! Like these feets!
Glad to hear that she is doing so well!
