Magnolia Blossom

Posted by Picasa

This magnolia tree is just starting to bloom. Happy Mother's Day!

By the way, I have to give a huge thank you to Frank at Tampa Daily Photo for posting both a picture and the history of a beautiful old home in Tampa built by my great-grandfather, Silas Leland Biglow, over a hundred years ago. Frank's blog always has nice pictures and great commentary, so please visit and enjoy! Thanks again Frank!

The creamy white magnolia flowers are so beautiful. I love the underside of the leaves, too.

I checked out Frank's post about your great-grandfathers house...it is a small world isn't it.

Happy Mothers Day, Lois :D

First of all, the magnolia tree has got to be one of the nicest trees on planet earth.

Secondly, it was great fun to read about your great-grandfather, Silas Leland Biglow.

Thirdly, thank you for your kind comment on Ocala DP!

Hope you are having a superb Mother's Day!

a perfect choice for Mother's day. All of the flowers on your site are gorgeous and bring a smile. Thanks for all of your comments on my site. I have enjoyed them very much. I am sorry I got a bit behind in responding because of work demands. I hope to see light at the end of my tunnel soon. I am preparing a night scapes series this week on my site. I was able to fit in a full moon photography class last Friday night so I tried this weekend to practice what I learned. I hope you enjoy it.
