Geese and their Babies
These geese were going for a swim with their babies on a small lake just east of Tallahassee. To get a better look at them, click on the image and enlarge it. Please visit Watery Wednesday for more beautiful watery pictures!
OH, my dear...this photo is beautiful! So peaceful.
Thank you for your comments on the valentines card! I remember seeing those old adding machines, too. In fact, up until a few years ago, I had a smaller version (probably updated quite a bit from the one in the valentine)of one--it was this chalky green color.
Great photo. I enlarged it and counted 3 babies. they are so cute. We have quite a few geese around here and I saw a couple that had 11 tiny little babies with them. I also took a peek at all your great photos on your blog. They are all wonderful but that fountain with the sculptures in it was so cute. I love fountains. Thanks for sharing all your interesting photos.
Great photos! I like the geese, because of the cool green of the water, as well as the goose family! The goslings are so big! Here, they are still eggs, but we will be seeing some in the next few weeks. Is there flooding at the foreground?

well done!
I did enlarge it, Lois and it is a wonderful view of the Momma, Pappa and their babys. The color of the water is beautiful.
Have a great week...

It seems geese are everywhere these days. I don't remember hardly ever seeing them locally, but they are in all the ponds now.
Lovely scenery! I like the small trees(?) in the water.
Wonderful! Spring is everywhere...
How refreshing! Makes me want to go swimming.
beautiful aqua green water and the geese bonding with their cute little babies.
I wonder if they'll be heading north when the little guys get bigger?
Nice capture...nothing like geese and their babies so long as they're in the water...
Out of the water...well, they're kinda messy!
Hi Lois.
Their so cute.

It may still be up in the attic...

Big ideas meet
Nice picture, geese with their offsprings is so peacefull. That reminds me I saw a tame duck a couple of days ago. I'll post it tomorrow,
Regards from Marcel
I love watching the geese and goslings but I always wonder how they cope with so many babies!
Very cute post for WW Lois. I'm forgetting to join the memes. :)
That picture was worth enlarging. One of the best things about spring is all the babies!
This is such a sweet photo, Lois!
And you've made me realize that I've never seen geese around here. I wonder why…
We have quite a few of these on the lake in the park here, have not yet seen any goslings.
Nice photo, Lois.

Is there flooding at the foreground?
No flooding, just vegetation growing in the water. We are actually below average in rainfall so far this year.
