Walking Through the Swamp

Posted by Picasa

A view of the cypress trees growing in the water from the nature trail at the Tallahassee Museum. If you enlarge the picture, you can get a good view of part of the wooden walkway ahead of us to the right in the picture.

My ole' stomping grounds. Our friends lived in the house right around the corner from the bridge and we use to ride the boats all around in here and then over to the Seminole Reservation..... great memories.

Love all the green! Looks like a place that an alligator might hide.

wow, that is a swamp. We obviously do not have swamps in Arizona I am really glad you enjoyed the Crazy 88 butterfly! It truly was real and free in the wild.

Although I've never been there, this kind of habitat allways fascinated me. Cypress trees growing in water are just fantastic and I find it very mysterious indeed. Would love to visit!
Beautiful shot!

Nice looking image, Lois. We don't have anything like this up here in PA. I would not mind walking thru that swamp myself. It looks so "intriguing" to see. I'd wonder just what would be lurking in the water or just what you might see.

Walking through the swamps are always fun...unless, of course, you fall off the walkway.

Nice photo!
