Dear Lois! Well done! Magnificent picture! It is very pretty! Many thanks for sharing such a beautiful shot! Now, some inspired words by the Brazilian writer "Augusto Cury":
"I have faults, and be anxious live annoyed at times, but do not forget that my life is the largest company in the world. And I can prevent it to go bankrupt. Being happy is to recognize that it is worth living, despite all the challenges, misunderstandings and periods of crisis. Being happy is bound to suffer the problems and become an author's own story. We cross deserts outside of themselves, but be able to find an oasis in the secret of his soul. We thank God every morning by the miracle of life. Being happy is not afraid of their own feelings. You learn about yourself."
What I truly miss here is the eruption of Spring. Ours is more subtle. If fact, it is more like the onset of winter. A few things bloom but most are just preparing for our brutal Summers.
Hi- I heard that Tallahassee is having so much rain that streets are flooding. Is that right? After hearing so much about drought conditions in the Southeast US, sounds like it might be good news, if a little in excess.
Dan--We got 13.25 inches of rain in 2 days. Lake Ella is over it's banks and there was some street flooding, but still not as bad as the tropical storm we had last summer. We've had 2 days of sunshine and I think the rain is coming back tomorrow. We were in a drought up until last week!

Of course!! Ours are finished.......
It is!
I've never seen a dogwood tree. The whole thing seems to be made of blossoms. Where are the leaves?
Thank you for this lovely photo, Lois!
You're welcome Hilda! The leaves start to sprout right after the tree blooms.
Beautiful dogwood so white and a sign of spring.
I love dogwoods! Their flowers are so lacy and delicate!
Good morning :)
Can't beat Cezar and Leia! Great poem...
And this is a beautiful dogwood, Lois. Very nice capture!

It must have been a lovely walk :-)

That is beautiful! The trees will be happy for all of that rain!
Beautiful!
