Robin

You will probably have to click on this picture and enlarge it so you can see that robin up there in that oak tree. I took this picture in my back yard the other day and since then I have had robins hopping around my yard every day. I like this picture of the first robin I saw though, so I'm posting it. I also like the way the late afternoon sun was shining through the trees. Now that the robins are here, it really does feel like spring!

Lois, this photo is so amazing and relaxing to view. I too enjoy seeing the Robins passing through on their way North. It is a good sign that Spring is in the air.

Bonjour Lois!
You are such a lucky girl! :-)You have a piece of paradise just in your backyard!Ohhh dear friend, I`m envious here now because I wish I could see robins just in my place as well!humm but thinking about little Luna here and because I live in a flat it`s better the robins stay safely outside!:-) Léia

Beautiful compositon and light! The robin is perfectly placed, I guess he was waiting for the photo :-)

I love robins, over here they are quite sociable and will sometimes follow you along a wall as you walk.

I can't help but feel sorry for all those other robins who want their pictures taken, too! :)

I'm laughing at Cheryl's comment. It really must be spring there! Love the green!

Nice capture, Lois! We've had some robins hopping around the yard, too, and I was trying to figure out if they were here to stay or heading north. Now, I haven't seen them for several days...so maybe they went north.

Very nice. The light adds to the drama of the bird and the woods. Relaxing.
