Reading Room

Here is a final view of the Werkmeister Humanities Reading Room in Dodd Hall on the FSU campus. On the day I took this picture, the room was set up for a small lecture. Usually the tables and chairs are arranged so that visitors can pick out a book and then sit down and quietly read or just enjoy the room.

So glad to have discovered your daily photo blog! Love todays picture. The blue glass with the brown in the room looks inspired by Vera Bradley (or is it the other way around?)

I love the way you took this photo. I feel like I could just walk into it. Splendid shot, Lois.

Great shot! It appears to be calm, and peaceful and full of color - a great place to read.

This series of photos has been wonderful! This is an amazing reading room! What a wonderful environment to get lost in a book.
