More Moss

I know this tree looks like it's been taken over and killed by the moss, but in reality it has just lost it's leaves for the winter. When spring comes, it will sprout it's leaves and look normal again. The building in the background is an old hotel which is referred to locally as the "round Holiday Inn". Currently it is being considered for some kind of housing project.

I think trees look gorgeous like that! Something you will not find here.

Must be gorgeous when the tree's all green. You'll remember to take another photo when spring comes, right? :)

Glad to hear the building will be put to good use. I think that'll help those who're suffering because of the financial crisis.

So this tree will probably be green again sometime next month? Springtime blooming occurs here in June. :)

Lois, you have such a beautiful eye for the beauty in nature and the things around you. Your photo is wonderful;)

Nah, a local church wants to make it a "faith based dorm", which will be overpriced and lose money by the handful.

Nothing says "Southern" to me like a tree draped in Spanish Moss :)
