Singer is the most famous under the sewingmachines. I still have one but never use it anymore...Must bring it to a thrift shop perhaps.:)
What a vibrant color. It needs a house with a green kitchen and just the right craft room.JanisGDP
Hello, love this old sewing machine, I think my Mom had one like it or close to it. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day. Have a great week ahead!
mother had one just like this, but not green, same container same machine.. makes me an antique to
Gorgeous! So retro Lois, love retro 💚
It sure was fun when manufacturers burst out colors...kitchen appliances in avocado and harvest gold! I loved Singers (all black) but actually used a Sears machine in my sewing years.
Very 60s I guess! Great find, Lois!
Now that's vintage
That is an old one. The color reminds me of the "depression glass" items I used to see. In fact, my grandfather had quite a collection of depression glass items.
It's quite an unusual shade.
...what a great color, so often you see them in basic black. A neat treasure from the past. Thanks Lois for sharing, enjoy your week.
It is so so pretty!! Wonder if it still works?
Beautiful indeed! Like those Italian scooters!
My Mum had one of those
I love that color too and it reminds me of my best friend's mom and her little sewing space. There are a lot of retro things like mixing bowls and radios and clocks that style and color, I'd love to fill my whole place with them.
Singer sewing machines are good, my dear Mum used hers a lot.Nice to see this photograph. All the best Jan
