Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
YES! Redbud, I think. I heard on the news that meteorological spring is March 1. But the calendar date is, of course, a bit later.
...Redbud is a great sign of spring, but it's a long ways off for us!
many blooms here as well. A pretty time of year!
How I would love to see those pink blossoms! Hopefully next month!
Yes, we're seeing the same signs. But we're a little stunned with the latest school shooting here in the Parkland area. We lived close to that school at one time. It's in one of the fanciest areas of south Florida. I was reading that we've already had 18 school shootings this year in Florida! What the hell's wrong with people?
Oh, your climate is faster as here, beautiful tree.
our signs are the squrirrels are madly making love every where we look and some of them are really FAT which means soon there will be more squirrels....
Now that is beautiful. Our street is lined with these trees on both side of the street; alternating some pink and some white. It is too cold now for them to flower. Usually in end March onwards.God bless.
Oh yes! When the blossom trees bloom, spring follows shortly after!
very pretty blooms on it
How very lovely, right after Valentines too!
I was noticing the elms fully showing off their new leaves in the park this morning.
Same thing happening here! I love it.
Very pretty! It'll be over two months before we see that.
Oh how lovely! I know we are all waiting with bated breath for spring to really show up in force! This little tree is such a sweet promise!
That looks fabulous to these winter tired eyes!
Very pretty to see.
That is a welcome sight. Daffodils are blooming here in the UK.
If you are seeing this already, I am impressed!! Wow! We have had warm temps today, but they will not last. Enjoy your weather! Thanks for linking up today!
This is a welcome sight. You're ahead of us. We have at least a month or more to wait.
