Beach mural

I'm finally back from my blogging break which ended up being way longer than I expected. I came down with the flu the week before Christmas (one day after getting my flu shot...hmmm) and was sick in bed for 4 days including all day Christmas. Fortunately my doctor gave me a prescription for Tamiflu which helped tremendously. I was still able to drag my myself onto an airplane with my daughter and two oldest grandkids for our long planned holiday trip to San Francisco and we had a great time! I took this photo on the side of a little shop somewhere near Stinson Beach in Marin Country just north of the city after a day visiting Sonoma and the wine country. We managed to make it to the beach just in time to view the sunset. I'll probably be posting a few photos from my trip in the coming days.

Linking to Monday Mural.

You have got more spunk than anyone I know! How did you ever drag yourself out of bed and fly to SF? Amazing. So glad you had a good time! I've never been in the wine country which is just as well as my wine tasting tends to be excessive. :) That's quite a mural It has more of a Pacific Ocean flavor than our Atlantic coast!

Wonderful mural! So sorry you were sick but glad you could go on to your trip! Glad the Tamiflu helped. I've learned from friends that Simbucol Black Elderberry is even better so if you ever come down with even a cold, try it! I never get flu shots, and I've only been sick a couple of times in the last six years, and then mildly. I used to take Echinacea off and on to ward colds etc off, but moved on to Airborne if I get a tiny throat scratch and extra vitamin C. Glad I heard also about the Black Elderberry! I guess I better knock on wood! :-)

What a bad time to be under the weather! (I haven't had problems with flu shots but don't mention the pneumonia vaccines - ugh!)
I'm a San Francisco native and lived a good part of my life in Marin County and 7 years in Sonoma. You were in my stomping grounds!
